You can find out how to update your old installation here. But we need at least this short official test phase before we can be start with a stable release. We know that many users are urgently waiting for the final stable release to be able to convert their current websites completely to Joomla 4.

Since this is now also available in a Joomla 4 compatible version here. The required plugin can be found here. New in this release is the added support for the JComments component. Not all reported bugs are in the new beta release fixed. Unfortunately, there are still problems with some generated URLs when the option for search engine friendly links is used. But we are of course trying to fix this bug and all other outstanding bugs as soon as possible. Please update as soon as possible. But please note that use of the beta versions on constructive websites cannot be recommended. If you would like to try this anyway, always make a backup of your database and all files beforehand. JDownloads 4.0.17 beta for Joomla 4 is now available for download. Today we have published the next beta 4 release.
